About
ABOUT PIXELMON PRIME
Pixelmon Prime is built on one core philosophy: depth over gimmicks.
Every system is designed to feel meaningful, interconnected, and worth investing time into.
This isn’t just another Pixelmon server—it’s a long-term progression world built for players who want something to sink their teeth into.
Below is an overview of the major systems available at launch and what players can expect from each of them.
CUSTOM-MADE SYSTEMS
Custom Items
Prime includes a growing collection of custom items designed to support progression, exploration, and unique gameplay loops. These items serve as building blocks for future systems and give players new ways to interact with the world. As the server expands, more custom items will be introduced to support new content and mechanics.
Anomalies
Anomalies mysteriously appear around the world, creating temporary hotspots of activity. Players will know an Anomaly Wave is happening when distinct Anomaly Portals appear throughout the world. Entering these portals transports players into the Anomaly Dimension, where they will face whatever awaits behind the veil. Anomalies can also be summoned intentionally using special Scroll items. No spoilers beyond that—discover the rest in-game.
PrimeLeague Competitive System
PrimeLeague is the structured competitive environment of Pixelmon Prime. It provides a clear path for players who want to test their teams, improve their battling skills, and participate in organized competition. The system will continue to evolve with new features and refinements as the server grows.
World Bosses
World Bosses are powerful encounters that appear at specific times or under certain conditions. These bosses are meant to be challenging group fights that reward participation, teamwork, and preparation. They offer valuable rewards and serve as major world events for the community.
Guardian Pokémon
Guardian Pokémon are special Pokémon created specifically for the Clan system and for future Prime-exclusive features and events. They are not catchable Pokémon—Guardians come from Guardian Eggs, which can be obtained through gameplay. Guardians level up simply by catching and defeating Pokémon, and their moves can be edited through the Clan system. At launch, Guardians serve as a unique form of progression tied directly to Clan content, and their role will expand over time.
Clans
Clans give players a way to group up, form identities, and progress together. At launch, Clans provide structure for social play and serve as the foundation for Clan Bosses and Clan Wars. They allow players to organize, collaborate, and prepare for upcoming Clan-based content.
Clan Bosses
Clan Bosses are group encounters designed specifically around Guardian Pokémon. Regular catchable Pokémon cannot be used in Clan Boss fights—only your Guardian Pokémon participates. These encounters reward coordination and teamwork, and they serve as meaningful group objectives for Clans.
Clan Wars
Clan Wars introduce structured competition between Clans. Just like Clan Bosses, Clan Wars use each member’s Guardian Pokémon rather than their normal party or PC Pokémon. This creates a fair, progression-based competitive environment built around the Guardian system. As the server expands, Clan Wars will receive additional features, rewards, and strategic depth.
HAND-TAILORED SYSTEMS
NPC Gyms
Pixelmon Prime features 8 NPC Gyms. At launch, these Gyms function as straightforward Gym Leader battles that reward badges. They are simple, clean progression steps for players to work through, and they will be expanded and enhanced in future updates.
SYSTEMS FROM OTHER CREATORS
Custom Nether by LongFrogg
Prime uses a custom Nether built by LongFrogg, chosen specifically for his high-level visual quality and exploration value. This Nether provides a more immersive and atmospheric environment for players to explore.
RTP with Biome Selection
The RTP system allows players to choose the biome they want to teleport to, making exploration and Pixelmon hunting more efficient and enjoyable.
GTS (Global Trading System)
The GTS provides a player-driven marketplace where players can buy and sell Pokémon. It supports collectors, traders, and anyone looking for specific species.
Bingo
Bingo adds fun, objective-based gameplay that rewards exploration and variety. It’s a light, rewarding side activity that fits naturally into normal play.
GriefPrevention (Land Claiming)
GriefPrevention ensures that your builds and bases are protected. It supports long-term play and gives players confidence that their progress is safe.
